CEO Global Outsourcing

Arun is a trained accountant with 8 years of professional business practice under his belt, having achieved an ACA from India and an ACMA from the UK. He has also completed an MBA in the UK in Strategic Management and harnessed his academic skills to head up the operational side of the business and also to market the benefits of outsourcing internationally. Arun lives in the UK with his family and is the CEO of the entire GI outsourcing operation. His primary responsibility is the oversight and management of the UK HQ and the outsourcing work carried out in the company’s production base in Mumbai, India. More recently, Arun has been travelling to Europe fulfilling an ambassadorial role for GI by meeting numerous clients and 'unpacking the benefits of working with GI'. Responsibility for overall quality CONTROL is also part of Arun's remit and he takes a very serious approach to delivering and maintaining quality at every stage of the project. Arun is well placed to talk to accountants about their day to day operational issues and also to be a useful resource for planning a long term business strategy incorporating outsourcing. He firmly believes that “Harnessing the potential of outsourcing will bring tangible benefits to his clients”.

Principal

Shailesh is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered accountants in England & Wales. He undertook his Articles with KPMG London and qualified with first time passes in 1987. After a post qualification period of approximately 2 years he moved to Price Waterhouse London initially in their Owner Managed Business Unit and then as a Tax Manager in a mainstream tax department. In the early 90's the firm of Macilvin Moore was set up in Central London with Shailesh as one of the founding partners. The firm made significant in roads in attracting high profile work such as the audit of EU aid monies and actively sought to serve the needs of businesses in particular with tax planning and business development issues.

Shailesh has been with the company since its inception and adds his considerable professional weight and experience to the smooth running of the business on all fronts. He contributes his significant experience in dealing with businesses of all types in assisting to provide solutions in a commercial context to achieve the client's goals.

Andy2009Andy Coomar FDNA
Corporate Marketing & Communications

Andy has been a professional marketeer and communicator in the UK for the last 34 years and has worked with large corporate agencies like Pincus Vidler, JWT and Saatchi & Saatchi’s. He has run his own communications business for the 22 years and was a founding partner of Procom Communications, the company that was responsible for all the corporate branding for the BA Concorde in 1984 (in partnership with Landor Associates). As a fellow of the Design Network Association and a past fellow of the Chartered Society of Designers, Andy brings to the business a considerable volume of professional and media experience and is responsible for marketing GI and for all the up-front client liaison work necessary to keep the communications machine moving smoothly. Not only does Andy host conferences, he is also an able conference presenter and a willing advocate for the virtues of accountancy outsourcing. He would be very happy to hear from anyone wanting to develop and grow the concept of outsourcing as a ‘virtual office’ principle.

Kehul Patel
Operations Manager UK

Kehul is resident in the UK and has responsibility to manage the operational aspects of the UK office under Arun’s oversight. His specific tasks revolve around overseeing the collation, briefing and final quality checking of all work coming out of our India office. He is also involved in the day to day administration of GI UK and is often out on location looking after our clients when a personal visit or face to face clarification is required. Kehul’s UK experience has proved invaluable in bolstering the UK front and adds further assurance to our growing list of clients that we are an up front company with a strong UK presence. Kehul is a consummate professional with ‘hands on’ experience in the accountancy business and is well able to handle all the outsourcing queries efficiently and courteously.

Director of India Operations

Rohit has had a distinguished career in management and process control methods. His past involvement in the minerals and commodities market has given him vital experience in dealing with a variety of large corporates and as a result, he is an excellent man manager. He has also had a lot of ‘hands on’ experience running businesses (including a thriving family business for a good few years). Rohit’s primary role for the India operation is to oversee the strategic operations and directing the various task teams for a smooth and seamless operation. Rohit is very approachable and if necessary, would be delighted to speak with clients directly on all matters concerning their projects.

Senior Manager India Operations

Manoj is the Senior Manager in charge of India Operations. The ‘buck’, literally stops with him and he carries a considerable weight of responsibility for the smooth running of the operation. He has been with GI since its inception and has developed superb interpersonal skills, both with clients and staff in order to ensure the delivery of a quality service in all areas of outsourcing. Manoj has several team leaders working directly under him and reporting to him on a daily basis. Internal communications is a noticeable strength of the India operation and Manoj has worked extremely hard to build and maintain a successful operating model. All recruitment and software training is overseen by Manoj and with regular visits to the UK, he continues to keep in touch with the changing technology and growing needs of the business.

The minimum entry level for all our staff is a degree in commerce and two to three years experience in accounting. They go through a mandatory training programme involving honing their technical skills in utilising various software packages and their file-presentation and accounting skills.

We operate a performance-related scheme for our staff, whereby excellence is rewarded. As a result, we have one of the lowest attrition rates in the industry.
