Other outsourcers require us to send our physical documents to India or require us to scan them ourselves. Is this the case with GI?
Show/Hide AnswerNO. We are different from our competitors. We have the advantage of a UK office based in Harrow (London). You can send your documents to our Harrow office to get them scanned. Our scanning option is much safer as you do not have to part with your records. You get your documents back quickly and moreover we can statistically prove that our scanning option is on average 50% cheaper than sending documents physically to India. E.g a 15KG package of documents will cost you circa £160 to send and receive back from India. With our scanning option, it would cost you only circa £80 to £90, thereby saving you a considerable amount. There are very few outsourcers of repute in the market offering this kind of service.
What is the GI fee structure?

What assurance does GI give that they will not poach our book-keeping clients?
Show/Hide AnswerGI works on a strict non-poaching service level agreement which we back up by a professional indemnity cover. GI does offer book keeping services directly to SMEs, but there is no conflict of interest as our target market is different to most of our mainline accountancy practice clients. Also in the event that GI is approached by an SME whose book-keeping work is done by one of our accountancy practice clients, we will simply refuse to take on the work, thereby honouring our agreement with our practice clients. We check SMEs' current book-keepers before we take on any book-keeping client directly.
What happens if there are errors in the work done by GI?
Show/Hide AnswerOf course, human error cannot be ruled out. However, in the unlikely case of issues with quality we will rectify the work at no cost to you. If you are still not happy with the work, you do not have to pay us. We always operate with integrity and in the past 7 years we have issued only 5 credits on jobs. We like to keep high satisfaction levels with our clients and we believe in long-term relationships.
